We love the way model Megan Gale has candidly shared about the quirks and wonders of her pregnancy.

Recently she took to Instagram, telling her 368,000 followers a little bit of what pregnancy looks like for her, including snoring, heartburn and water retention. Yep, it happens to models too ladies!

The 41-year-old, who is expecting her second child with AFL partner Shaun Hampson, went on to marvel at how the human body can not only create life, but carry, sustain and deliver life.

“I am just marvelling at what my body is capable of and I am LOVING every little kick, punch and jostle that is going on in there. I mean I’m growing a freaking human – how cool is that?! So lucky, so blessed…”

We’re thrilled that your pregnancy is bringing you so much joy, Megan. Thank you for sharing some of it with us, and we wish you abundant happiness as your family expands.

WATCH OUT ⚠️
DANGEROUS CURVES AHEAD
Even though I seem to be dreamily basking in creamy dappled sunlight, I am starting to feel the preggo pinch of late. As I amble (not quite a waddle.. YET) towards the third trimester the aches and pains in the nether regions are coming back with a vengeance and much earlier in the pregnancy than I remember with River and I’m also much bigger much earlier. Not so much from a weight perspective but a ….. girth perspective 😜 Doesn’t help that this little bun (now a serious damper loaf) is measuring slightly big for the stage we’re at so I very well could have a big baby on my hands come push time 😳 I have also welcomed back my old mates water retention, snoring and heartburn. That all said and jokes aside, I am just marvelling at what my body is capable of and I am LOVING every little kick, punch and jostle that is going on in there. I mean I’m growing a freaking human – how cool is that?! So lucky, so blessed and I may not get to do this again so I’ll take the bad because I know there’s SO much good, now and in the future. So here’s to #embracingthebump ❤️❤️❤️
